Product Overview Maltitol Syrup 75-55 is a hydrogenated starch hydrolysate produced by the catalytic hydrogenation of a mixture of carbohydrates hydrolysed from starch. It is a clear, colourless, syrupy liquid with a clean sweet taste, miscible with water and with glycerol. The product contains 50–80% maltitol by weight, with the remainder being predominantly sorbitol and a small number of other sugar-related substances; this particular grade is standardised to deliver ≥ 75%
