Product Overview Sorbitol Powder (D-Glucitol) is a white crystalline polyol — a sugar alcohol — made by converting starch into glucose and then hydrogenating that glucose under catalysis, after which the liquor is refined, concentrated, crystallised, dried and sieved. Our plant runs the full route in house, starting from corn starch slurry, so particle size, residual sugar and colour are controlled at the crystallisation and sieving stages rather than bought in.
